FFA Student Recognition
Clay Drake, GHS Agriculture Education Instructor, recognized Mr. Dalton Cockrum for recently performing in the National FFA Band at the National FFA Convention which was held in Indianapolis, IN. This was Dalton’s second year to be a part of this band. He is the 3rd generation in his family to have this honor. Mr. Garret Wellden was also recognized for his recent accomplishments. Garret recently won Grand Champion at both the Oklahoma State Fair and the Tulsa State Fair with his duroc hog. Mr. Drake acknowledged there have been less than 7 people succeed in this accomplishment.
