Welcome to my classroom web page!

*The best way to reach me is either by Remind 101 ( Durhams1st), or emailing me. I check my email daily.
I hope to leave a positive impact on your child's education, so that they are eager to learn even more in the future.
My husband and I moved to Guthrie from Lawton, OK. in 2011. Since arriving here, I've taught at Cotteral, GUES and Central. I have a Bachelors of Science. My youngest son is currently completing his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at OU. We also have a daughter and older son attending UCO to complete their bachelors.
I am a big animal lover!  We have cats, dogs, a giant African Sulcata tortoise (she weighs close to 80 lbs), a few lizards and a variety of other inverts. I do bring animals into the classroom to provide visuals for certain lessons.  Also, I enjoy hiking, as well as backpacking in parks all over the USA. I belong to a few animal rescue groups, the Oklahoma Herpetological Society and the Oklahoma Horticultural Society.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
