My name is Jamie Alexander, and this is my twentieth year of teaching. My husband and I have twin boys who are juniors in college this year. We raise cattle and love being outdoors. All four of us love to hunt. I like to read, shoot my bow, and spend time with our family.
I am very proud to be an elementary teacher. I believe children should always be treated with kindness and respect as they are encouraged to learn new things. I treat my students with the same compassion that I would want my own sons to be treated with.
I believe reading is the most important skill children acquire in elementary school, and I am committed to helping children become better readers. It is so rewarding to see every one of my students making progress throughout the year. We work hard each day to strengthen our reading skills, and I help my students track their progress, so they can see their own improvement. Parent involvement is so important to a child's success, and I am very excited to be working with you to help your child be successful this year. Please contact me right away if you have any questions or concerns. You and I working together as a team will ensure that this year will be a wonderful experience for your child.
