Technology EOY Procedures and Info

End of Year Checkout Procedures

Teachers please review the following Technology items to complete the End of Year Checkout procedures.

  • Save student grades in PDF format to the shared drives folder. Click here to find instructions to create a PDF of grades from Infinite Campus. Then navigate to Google Drive (G:) >Shared drives>Your site Grades-Inventory Folder and save the pdf document in your folder.
  • Complete the Teacher Computer Info Google Form for any district owned teacher computers including laptops. Not required for chromebooks or lab computers.
  • Turn off and unplug your computer this includes computer labs. If it is a laptop, turn in to your site office (or your principal’s designated location. See below for checkout information.
  • Turn in to the office projector remote and smartboard pens and erasers. Place in plastic bag with room number on it.
  • Safely store your wireless keyboard/mouse, document camera, cables-to-go box, desk phone (if issued one) or any other connection device. Items such as these are commonly misplaced when rooms are dismantled for summer cleaning and are NOT easily replaced.
  • For any technology items requiring repairs submit a Technology Request in FMX. Additionally, if you anticipate you may need to relocate network cables submit a request. Technology requests submitted in August to relocate network cables due to re-arranging your class setup, will be placed on hold until a later date.
  • Save all documents, pictures or files in Google Drive if you haven’t already done so. Items stored in My documents, the Desktop, Pictures or anywhere on the C: drive should be moved to your Google Drive. If you have personal pictures, videos, etc., please move/save to a flash drive or other external storage device. Click here for instructions on how to upload files and folders.
  • All "portable technology equipment" must be (1) recorded on the appropriate inventory; (2) returned to the site office with all "pieces" -- bluetooth connection, cables, charger, OtterBoxes, etc.; (3) logged in by office with your initials -- pay close attention and make sure serial numbers are accurate.
  • If you are wanting to use any of these items over the summer, you will complete the Technology Use Agreement form and turn into the office. In August you will be asked to log the item in and re-log back out for use during the school year on the current year's log.
