Summation: What Do I HAVE To Make Sure is Done?

The easiest way to figure out what you have to get done is to follow your way down your Faculty Clearance Sheet.

Basically:

  • Classroom (General) Inventory
  • Textbook Inventory
  • Federal Programs Inventory (Carl Perkins, Title Everything, etc.) (See note below.)
  • Complete Teacher Computer Info Form in Google Forms
  • Move all items from (Documents, Downloads, Desktop Files, etc.) to your Google Drive
  • Put projector remote in plastic baggie, label with room number and turn into site office.
  • Check in ALL "portable" technology equipment --- IPads, Laptops, tablets, etc.  Each item will be inventoried.  You can then come back at a later date and check out the same item for summer use with the Summer Tech Use form.  All items must be recorded on the proper inventory form received from your room.
  • Grades 3-12, save PDF copy of grades in Google Drive > Shared Drives > Your school Grades-Inventory Folder
  • All Grades, post Final grades in Infinite Campus confirm with site Registrar
  • Specific duties / forms per grade level detailed on Site Clearance Sheet

Inventory -- Rooms Will Be Checked to Verify Accuracy of Inventories

A Federal Program Inventory form must be completed if you have ANY items from Federal Funds.

  • The Federal Funds options are:
    • Title I, II and VI
    • RSA
    • G/T
    • Carl Perkins
  1. If you have Federal Program inventory items on your previous classroom inventory, move them to the Federal Programs Inventory form.  Right click on the row number and delete them from your classroom inventory after you have "moved" the information.
  2. There is a still a "personal property" option on the classroom inventory.  We all know there are personal property items like bulletin boards, borders, etc. in your classroom.  However, the checkout sheets are fairly emphatic about "Take all personal property home."

There's a dividing line of interpretation:

  1. Take your refrigerator, microwave, radio, bluetooth speakers, CRITTERS, etc. home this summer.  But "instructional" materials can be inventoried and remain in the classroom.  If you have a computer that you "donated" to your classroom, leave it in your classroom.  If you have your personal computer in your room that's still really your "personal computer", take it home.
