Hello my name is Dayla Salas and I teach 6th grade math at Guthrie Upper Elementary School. This is my second year teaching at Guthrie schools. I am from Oklahoma, and I have lived in Guthrie for about 17 years. My husband is also born and raised in this town, he was a Guthrie High School Graduate, himself. All 5 of my children go to Guthrie Schools. We really have bluejay pride! My son also plays football for the 3rd grade Guthrie little league team, where my husband also coaches. I know more than 1 language, and I try my best to support all different types of learners in my classroom. Being a parent of public school children, I, myself, understand how important it is to keep in touch with their teachers. Hola, mi nombre es Dayla(Adela) Salas y soy la maestra de matemáticas de sexto grado en la escuela primaria de Guthrie Upper Elementary. Este es mi segundo año enseñando en las escuelas de Guthrie. Soy de Oklahoma y he vivido en Guthrie por casi 17 años. Mi esposo también nació y creció en este pueblo; él mismo se graduó de la escuela secundaria de Guthrie. Tambien, mis hijos (son 5) van a las escuelas de Guthrie. ¡Realmente tenemos orgullo por los Bluejays! Mi hijo también juega fútbol americano en el equipo de liga pequeña de Guthrie de tercer grado, donde mi esposo también entrena.
