Scholarship Search Tips
Sixt Rent a Car Scholarship
The Sixt Scholars Program is available to high school seniors graduating in the academic year of 2018/2019. The scholarship will also take into consideration other factors such as financial need and extracurricular activities. Award winners must show valid proof of a full-time enrollment in an accredited undergraduate college or university for the academic year 2019/2020.

DELL Scholars Program
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation created Dell Scholars to recognize and assist an underserved population—students in the academic middle from low-income households who are often among the first in their families to attend college. All Dell Scholars have overcome significant personal challenges in their pursuit of higher education. The financial award helps students with various education expenses; but, most importantly, the program is more than just a check: Dell Scholars is a college completion program that provides students with key supports they need to obtain a college degree.

Gregg Goff Leadership Award
Greg Goff is President and CEO of Andeavor, formerly known as Tesoro Corporation, a Fortune 150 company which is an independent refiner and marketer of petroleum products headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Under his leadership, Andeavor is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and investing in energy efficient projects. Community Outreach is also a major priority within the company—volunteering and charitable giving are woven into the company culture.
In this spirit of world betterment, Greg Goff is sponsoring college scholarships based on outstanding leadership to help encourage and recognize young leaders in their schools and communities and to help invest in their higher education.
Eligible applicants are high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The application is open to students worldwide.
Scholarship funds will be sent to the university where the student enrolls and can be used for tuition, books, room and board, or other college-related expenses. The scholarship funding is for the freshman year in college and is non-renewable.

The Recovery Village Scholarship
A $1,000 award will be given to a student pursuing a health-related degree program. Areas of study that will be considered include, but are not limited to, counseling, social work, emergency medicine, pre-med, nursing, psychology (with a focus on addiction counseling or a substance-abuse related field). Applicants must submit an essay no more than 500 words describing why they are passionate about health care, with a focus on substance abuse and mental health. Essays can draw from personal or professional experience.
