My name is Brent Lemmons. I am a U.S. Army veteran, and I hold an M.S. from Oklahoma State University. I am certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education to teach science grades 5-12. I am a Google certified educator, and have been with Guthrie Public Schools since 2020. I firmly believe that promoting curiosity and critical thinking through science is the best way for students to learn. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to teach and motivate children so that I can foster a lifetime love for science.
Personally, I am a huge geek/nerd. I volunteer weekly teaching children Magic the Gathering at a local shop, affiliate with local Masonic fraternal organizations, and write grants. I have been married since 2006, and have 2 daughters: Calista and Lydia. I like to game tabletop and video. I make electric guitars in my free time. Favorite fandoms include: Doctor Who, Marvel (Deadpool FTW), Overwatch, Dragonball Z, Transformers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
