First Sergeant Campbell is the Army Instructor for JROTC. He is in his 8th year at GHS after serving 20 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout. He has a BA in History from the University of South Florida. 1SG Campbell served as an ROTC Instructor at the University of Mississippi, Company First Sergeant at Fort Richardson, AK and as as Brigade Operations Sergeant at Fort Carson, Co prior to retiring from active duty in July of 2015.
1SG Campbell is married with one child. His hobbies are reading, physical fitness, cars, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors.
1SG instructs the second and third year cadets - LET II and LET III. He coaches the Drill and Color Guard Teams for JROTC. Team practices are part of the competition class (5th hour).
