ABOUT ME
Family
I have been married for 24 years to my husband Casey. He teaches US History and AP US History here at GHS. He loves everything about the Dodgers and OSU. We have a son named Tyler. He is 26 years old. He is funny, clever, witty, and nice. He was one of the valedictorians of GHS, class of 2015. Tyler is now working in the vet department at OSU in their software/coding department. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science from OSU. He is going back to school this year to finish up his master's degree in the program of Business Analytics and Data Science. He loves playing Dungeons and Dragons and hanging out with his friends. He enjoys playing his trumpet and his guitar in his free time. He is also a runner and has run several marathons. His girlfriend Emily is studying to be a veterinarian in London. She got her bachelor's degree at OSU. We got a new puppy this year. Her name is Vivian. She likes to pick up sticks, water bottles, cans, you name it and keep it as a treasure or bury it for later. She is spunky, lovey, and soft. She also talks a lot (makes a lot of cute sounds). As for myself, I was born and raised in Guthrie. I graduated from GHS in 1995. This is my 16th year teaching. In that 16 years, I have been in two districts, and five buildings, and have taught eight different grade levels. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in my family's donut shop - Daylight Donuts. I love watching T.V., seeing Tyler, watching movies, playing with my dog, watching funny/cute videos on my phone, playing Candy Crush (currently in the level of the early 2100s), and occasionally tagging along to a sporting event with my husband.

*I love candy bars. - My favorites are Reese's Peanut Butter cups, Twix, caramel Hershey's Kisses, and 3 Musketeers.

*My favorite foods are chicken enchiladas, corn, guacamole, and cake
*I hate when meetings don't start on time.
*I hate when assemblies/banquets, etc. don't hold applause until the end.
*I love shakes from Braums only - chocolate or vanilla
*I love scary and suspenseful movies, although my favorites are neither. My favorite movies are Matilda, Pretty Woman, The Shawshank Redemption, The Magic of Ordinary Days, A Simple Twist of Fate, The Object of My Affection, Corrina Corrina, Where the Heart Is, The War of the Roses, Made in Heaven, and The Princess Bride, Uncle Buck and Home Fries. I could watch these over and over again.
*I love popcorn - kettle and movie theater butter
* I love diet Dr. Pepper and regular Dr. Pepper. It's pretty much all I drink. I rarely drink water and every so often I drink sweet tea.
*I like pretty cupcakes and cookies. They are just neat and special.
*I like baseball stuff - it reminds me of my husband
