Amber Moore's Home Page

Hello, my name is Amber Moore and I will be teaching 2nd Grade for the 2023-2024 school year. This year will be my twelfth year teaching, all twelve years have been here at Fogarty Elementary. I have taught two years in 3rd Grade and this will be my tenth year teaching 2nd Grade. I am very excited to start another fabulous year here at Fogarty Elementary. This district has been my home throughout my educational endeavors.  I attended kindergarten through twelfth grade here in Guthrie and graduated in 2004.  While working on my degree at UCO, I was a substitute teacher for the district for three years and I also did my student teaching here as well.  I am so thankful to be given this wonderful opportunity to make a difference in my community and to be a valuable asset to the district that has done so much for me over the years.  I am so glad to be a Bluejay and to be a part of this wonderful school and district.   I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in May 2010.  I am also certified to teach Early Childhood Education as well. I absolutely LOVE teaching and could not imagine myself doing anything else! I cannot wait to start another exciting and successful year!
