First Sergeant Campbell is the Army Instructor for JROTC. He is in his 9th year at GHS.  1SG Campbell served 20 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout. He has a BA in History from the University of South Florida (2001). Some of his duty positions include; ROTC Instructor at the University of Mississippi; Company First Sergeant at Fort Richardson, AK; and Brigade Operations Sergeant at Fort Carson, Co.  He retired from active duty in July of 2015. 1SG Campbell is married with one child. His hobbies are reading, physical fitness, racing, shooting sports, and anything to do with the outdoors. 1SG Campbell instructs the second and third year cadets - LET II and LET III - in fitness, health, leadership and civics. He coaches the Drill and Color Guard Teams.  Team practices are part of the competition class (5th hour).
