Chapter Accomplishments
FFA members have begun work on their SAE projects which consists of show animals, production animals, lawn and garden care, and work experience with agriculture related experiences. We have a promising group of greenhand students. Many students have started work on their public speaking skills and manuscripts.
Team members will compete at fall Career Development Events at Tonkawa and Goodwill. CDE teams include Land, Greenhand Quiz Bowl, Floriculture, Nursery Landscape, Livestock Judging, Farm Shop, and Food Science.
2 students attended the Washington Leadership Conference this summer and 17 students attended the State FFA Alumni Camp.
The Guthrie FFA horticulture classes are constructing projects for the Oklahoma State Fair.
The Ag Mechanics classes are busy constructing metal projects for the Oklahoma State Fair.
